New Zealand is a volcanic island. That means, that there is a lot of volcanoes and also remains of earlier volcanic eruptions. Mostly when we think about the volcano it seems to us brown and black rocks. Anyhow the chemistry coming out of the land making such a beautiful art with colors. All different minerals make their own color. Like the picture here, the main artist has been sulfur. When I went to New Zealand I was really surprised that basically in this country there is 2-4 earthquakes every day. They are mostly small ones of 2-3 magnitudes. But anyhow it is something what makes a bit stressed when you know that all the time somewhere the land is shaking.
