I have been in IGP dogsport since beginning of 90-s.
I have had since then all the time my own training group, where I train tracking , obedience and bitework weekly.  As much as I start with these dogs from the puppy age and I take them until championships level, it has been giving me a lot of experience with different breed and type of dogs.
From my group there have been for about 15 years every year some dogs in podium places in Estonian IGP and IGP- FH championships

It has also been giving me a good chance to experiment and adjust my own training methods.
As much as in the same time I have been also competing with my own different breed of dogs and also judged in very much different level trials and competitions of different breeds. have been judging, competing and also making seminars in about 25 different countries. It has formed me quite a wide picture of the dogsport. I Based on  this knowledge I have also made a lot of seminars within nearly 20 years.

Most of all I have been doing seminars of tracking.  Sometimes combined with other disciplines. But for me the tracking is most interesting, as much as I see many people having problems with this discipline.  I have been meeting in my seminars very much different kind of dogs and handlers, both in skills and experience. Very often I see, that people do not quite understand the deeper meaning of the tracking. People have the tendency to train tracking as obedience or train up a model. But tracking works so much better, if you think about it differently. Main aim for me making the seminars is to make people understanding of tracking wider, so they can find so much easier the tools to move on in tracking. For sure in seminar, there is always good to give also tools at the moment to help people to solve the present problems, but as they need to move on also week or month after seminar, I want to give more knowledge of the whole concept. That’s why I always make long lecture with a lot of videos explaining to people why and how the dog is working in the tracking, how to build up the basics and how to move on and train the dog to work out of stress etc.
Here is a short video I explain the basics and share some ideas, what are important in my eye.
